DLNY is proud to kick off our Spring 2024 DLNY CONNECT Lab in collaboration with Pace University's Sands College of Performing Arts.

The DLNY CONNECT program matches rising choreographers with experts in the field who observe their mentee in process and provide invaluable feedback. This week, we are excited to host choreographer Cristina Camacho who will be mentored by notable Broadway director/choreographer, Ellenore Scott.

 
 

CRISTINA CAMACHO

Cristina Camacho (aka Macho) is a professional dancer and choreographer originally hailing from the DMV. A graduate of the University of Maryland (B.A. Dance / B.S. Kinesiology), she relocated to New York in 2018, where she has since worked as a commercial dancer (MTV VMA's, Telemundo Upfronts, The Soul Spot by Candace Brown, The CW, BET) and traveled internationally as a choreographer and dance educator. When she is not dancing, Cristina lends her skills to Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in a Communications role.

 
 
 

ELLENORE SCOTT

Ellenor Scott is a BIPOC, New York based choreographer and director. Broadway: Grey House, Funny Girl, Mr. Saturday Night. Off-Broadway: I Can Get It For You Wholesale, Little Shop of Horrors, Titanique (Lucille Lortel Nomination). Other choreography credits: So You Think You Can Dance?, Single All the Way (Netflix), Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical. Co-Directed The Lonely Few (L.A. World premiere, transferring to MCC Theater Off-Broadway Spring 2024). TV Performances: Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Smash, The Blacklist, Glee!, and Finalist and All-Star on So You Think You Can Dance? @helloellenore
